Have you ever heard people say (especially before having children!) ‘we’ll live our life the same, the kid/s will join our life, we wont change our life to suit the kid’. Well we’ve certainly attempted that in some way, we make sure we go out for dinner (after booking a babysitter), we go away for weekends still, and we still travel, in fact William (aka Rocky) had 5 stamps in his passport by the time he was one! We try not to let Rocky change how we run our lives, but lets be honest a lot HAS changed, or at least adjusted. And day to day life sure is different now..

Join us along Rocky’s road of toddlerhood, travel, tantrums, and toilet training! And probably a few other surprises along the way? Who knows…!

Portugal – the beginning of a 3 month stay

As I got on the plane to Portugal with Rocky I couldn’t help feeling like this was the last leg of the tour, the end is in sight now and I know its going to go far too quickly, so we have to make the most of it and make every minute count.
